The Danish Football Association takes part in the Coaches Academy programme

The Sevilla FC Innovation Center welcomed future coaches from the Danish Football Association to the José Ramón Cisneros Palacios Training Ground this week, as they are currently completing their UEFA A coaching licence.

This visit marks the Danish FA’s first participation in the international Coaches Academy programme, an initiative designed to offer tailored educational experiences to clubs and federations from different countries.

During their stay, the coaches took part in a fully immersive experience that enabled them to gain an in-depth understanding of Sevilla FC’s sporting model, from Sporting Direction to academy teams.

The programme included:

  • Strategic sessions with sporting department leaders.
  • Live training observations.
  • Methodological analysis of tasks and planning.
  • Professional exchange and discussion spaces.

The high level of engagement and interest shown by the delegation has led to the arrival of a second group of Danish coaches, consolidating an international relationship based on knowledge transfer and educational excellence.

Sevilla FC Innovation Center continues to strengthen its positioning as a European benchmark in coach education and structural development for sports organisations.

The CEO of Sports Data Campus participates in the radio program `Contigo Sevilla´

The official radio program of Sevilla FC, Contigo Sevilla, featured David Sáez, CEO of Sport Data Campus, during its broadcast on Thursday, February 19, in an interview focused on the impact of data analysis in professional football.

During the conversation, Sáez highlighted the evolution of data usage within clubs over recent years, transitioning from a complementary tool to a structural element in sports decision-making processes. In this context, he emphasized the key role that analytics departments currently play in areas such as scouting, squad planning, and performance evaluation.

The discussion also addressed the growing need to incorporate specialized profiles capable of interpreting objective information within sports management teams, in a setting where talent identification increasingly relies on advanced analytical models.

The 10th Edition of the Master’s in Big Data Applied to Football Scouting, organized by the Sevilla FC Innovation Center in collaboration with Sport Data Campus and UCAM, which will begin on March 26, 2026.

This program is designed for scouts, analysts, coaches, and sporting directors who want to integrate strategic data use into the processes of talent identification and evaluation in professional football.

Inclusion and Experience in the Intermediate Course in Football Coaching

The Authorized Sports Education Center Sevilla FC Innovation Center continues to promote a comprehensive training model that combines theoretical learning with practical experiences in real environments. In this regard, the Intermediate Degree in Football Coaching, an official and accredited qualification, includes within its training pathway the subject of Physical Activity and Disability, which belongs to the complementary block.

This module enables students to acquire specific knowledge related to the adaptation of sports practice for people with disabilities, addressing key aspects such as inclusion in sport, the design of adapted tasks, and the management of groups with different functional abilities within the football environment.

With the aim of reinforcing these contents and transferring them into a practical context, students have the opportunity to participate in activities organized by students from both cycles together with Sevilla FC Genuine and the Sevilla FC Academy teams. These sessions provide an experiential learning environment in which future sports coaches can apply adapted methodologies, develop communication skills, and gain first-hand experience in the planning and implementation of inclusive activities.

Through initiatives such as these, the Sevilla FC Innovation Center reinforces its commitment to training that is aligned with the professional reality of the sports sector, promoting fundamental values such as equal opportunities, empathy, and social integration through football.
