The club collaborated in training sessions with the Shenzhen Football Federation in China

Sevilla FC continues to share its expertise within the football industry as part of its internationalization strategy and, this November, took part in a series of coaching and development sessions organized together with the Shenzhen Football Federation in China, an event that also included the participation of LALIGA and Levante UD.

José Collado, the club’s Head of International Sports Projects, represented the entity in a seminar aimed at coaches and officials of the regional federation, where he presented Sevilla FC’s player development model for both the men’s and women’s pathways.

During the visit, the club also had the chance to gain first-hand insight into the structure and reality of youth football in China by attending several training sessions and academy matches across different age groups. This experience has provided valuable learning within the internationalization process the club is currently undertaking.

“For Sevilla FC, our time in Shenzhen has been extremely enriching, as we were able to witness the enthusiasm and potential of Chinese football. We would like to thank LALIGA and the local government for the opportunity to deliver this seminar and to learn first-hand about the work being done in grassroots football across the country. Sevilla FC+ receives recognition at the FBIN Management Excellent Awards

The club’s content platform, Sevilla FC+, continues to rack up recognition within the audiovisual and sports sectors. On this occasion, it has been honored at the FBIN Management Excellence Awards, organized by the renowned specialized media outlet Football Business Inside.

The awards highlighted this digital and audiovisual project as one of the most innovative initiatives with the best global approach in the football industry for 2025, alongside organizations such as Club Brugge and Atlético de Madrid. Additionally, José Ángel Risco, the club’s Head of Digital Content, took part in one of the event’s presentations focused on successful cases in digital strategy.

Alongside these accolades, Sevilla FC+ continues to strengthen its presence in its first five months of operation. In recent days, it has reached one million unique users, and its content, both live and on-demand, has surpassed three million views.

Next week, the platform will once again be up for new awards in the sports industry: the SportsPro Media Awards, to be held on the 18th in Madrid, where it competes in the categories of Best New OTT Platform and Platform of the Year.

Present at the Talent Development Summit

The project aims to promote the holistic development of the club’s young footballers through the application of scientific knowledge about brain function.

Sevilla FC participated on November 11 and 12 in the Talent Development Summit in Graz, an international gathering that brings together experts in innovation and talent development in the sports sector. Within this framework, the club presented its Applied Neuroscience program for the academy, a pioneering initiative designed to enhance the overall development of its players through the study of the brain and the optimization of cognitive skills.

During the event, Antonio Gutiérrez López, head of the initiative at the club, explained the benefits of this educational approach, which aims to provide youth players with tools to improve decision-making, increase concentration, and strengthen mental resilience. All of these factors are essential for sporting performance and reinforce Sevilla FC’s commitment to innovation and the well-being of its future talents.

In addition to Sevilla FC, the Talent Development Summit brought together prominent figures in world football, including FIFA and several top European clubs such as Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Benfica, Brighton, and Club Brugge. All attendees had the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into this innovative program, which represents a significant step forward in integrating science into the development of the Sevilla FC academy.

The Higher Sports Council (CSD) officially approves the equivalence of the Sevilla FC Academic Degrees in Football Coaching with UEFA Licenses

The Higher Sports Council (CSD) has officially approved the equivalence of the Academic Degrees in Football Coaching (Intermediate and Advanced Levels) organized by Sevilla FC, with the UEFA Coaching Licenses.

This recognition represents a historic step forward in football coaching education in Spain and consolidates the Sevilla FC Innovation Center as a benchmark in sports education and innovation applied to football.

A milestone for education and professional development

These programs, delivered within the club’s academic framework, are recognized by the Ministry of Education, the Higher Sports Council (CSD), and the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).
Thanks to this equivalence, certified coaches will be able to work professionally throughout Europe and in all FIFA-affiliated countries, holding the same accreditation level as UEFA License holders.

This achievement reflects Sevilla FC’s strong commitment to educational excellence, the professionalization of football, and the international reach of its training programs.

Sevilla FC hosts the second edition of the ‘Fitness Academy’ program

With the aim of consolidating and continuing the training programs promoted by the Innovation Center, Sevilla Football Club has held the second edition of the Fitness Academy program, once again welcoming various professionals from the Polish Football Association (PZPN).

This year’s initiative expanded on the scope of the previous edition by including experts from all areas related to sports performance, allowing the PZPN fitness coaches to gain both theoretical and practical insight into the club’s methodology, guided by Sevilla FC’s own technical staff and specialists.

On this occasion, the program also featured a presentation from the first team’s physical preparation and rehabilitation department, where participants were able to delve into the training processes carried out at the highest competitive level. In addition, they had the opportunity to visit the first team’s facilities, experiencing first-hand the structure and organization of Sevilla FC’s sports department.

It is worth highlighting that this marks the second visit of the Polish Football Association to the José Ramón Cisneros Palacios Training Ground, further strengthening the collaborative relationship between both institutions. Moreover, at the end of the month, Sevilla FC will welcome for the first time a women’s delegation from the PZPN, on the occasion of the Sports Directors Course organized by the Polish federation.
