The Antonio Puerta Football School is aimed at boys and girls aged 4 to 14 and takes place at the José Ramón Cisneros Palacios Training Complex. Sevilla FC Takes Part in the 4th International Congress on Football, Innovation, and Psychology

Sevilla FC, through its Psychology Department, took part in the 4th International Congress on Football, Innovation, and Psychology, held on July 9, 10, and 11 at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Santiago de Compostela.

The club participated in a roundtable discussion organized in collaboration with LALIGA, focused on the “Challenges and adaptations in psychological intervention within youth academies.” Representing Sevilla FC were professionals Julián Cabrera and José Carlos Pérez, who shared the stage with specialists from Racing Club de Santander and Athletic Club de Bilbao.

The session addressed various realities and challenges that arise in psychological intervention within high-performance environments, such as youth football. The adaptations implemented were highlighted, emphasizing the importance of a holistic approach that involves players, families, coaches, and technical staff, with the aim of optimizing the personal and athletic development of academy players.

This participation reinforces Sevilla FC’s commitment to the personal and athletic development of its players from the youth categories, promoting a multidisciplinary approach that fosters growth on all levels.
