Inclusion and Experience in the Intermediate Course in Football Coaching
The Physical Activity and Disability module comes to life through practical sessions with Sevilla FC Genuine and the Sevilla FC Academy teams
The Authorized Sports Education Center Sevilla FC Innovation Center continues to promote a comprehensive training model that combines theoretical learning with practical experiences in real environments. In this regard, the Intermediate Degree in Football Coaching, an official and accredited qualification, includes within its training pathway the subject of Physical Activity and Disability, which belongs to the complementary block.
This module enables students to acquire specific knowledge related to the adaptation of sports practice for people with disabilities, addressing key aspects such as inclusion in sport, the design of adapted tasks, and the management of groups with different functional abilities within the football environment.
With the aim of reinforcing these contents and transferring them into a practical context, students have the opportunity to participate in activities organized by students from both cycles together with Sevilla FC Genuine and the Sevilla FC Academy teams. These sessions provide an experiential learning environment in which future sports coaches can apply adapted methodologies, develop communication skills, and gain first-hand experience in the planning and implementation of inclusive activities.
Through initiatives such as these, the Sevilla FC Innovation Center reinforces its commitment to training that is aligned with the professional reality of the sports sector, promoting fundamental values such as equal opportunities, empathy, and social integration through football.
In this way, students not only expand their technical skills but also develop a more comprehensive vision of sport as an educational and social transformation tool, preparing themselves to face the challenges of their future professional careers.
