Closing Ceremony of the First Graduating Class of the Intermediate Vocational Training Program in Football Coaching
The Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium hosted the diploma award ceremony, with the presence of Jesús Galván and Luci Martín
The José Antonio Sánchez-Araujo Press Room, located at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium, hosted the closing ceremony and diploma presentation for the first graduating class of the Intermediate Level Football Coaching Course, organized by the Sevilla FC Innovation Center. This educational initiative has enabled the 25 students who successfully completed the program to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to begin teaching football, as well as to promote and encourage the sport among young people and in educational settings.
The ceremony was attended by prominent representatives of the club, including Jesús Galván, current coach of Sevilla Atlético, and Luci Martín, a member of Joaquín Caparrós’ coaching staff. Both took part in the event to show their support for the new coaches and to emphasize the importance of education in professional development within the world of football.
In addition to this intermediate-level course, the Sevilla FC Innovation Center also offers the Advanced Level Football Coaching Certification. This qualification represents the highest level a coach can achieve within both the Spanish and European educational and federative systems. Upon completion of this advanced program, students earn the official credentials required to coach at all levels of Spanish football, from grassroots to professional teams, and even to be part of the coaching staff for regional or national teams.
Both training programs are offered in collaboration with CESUR, the most prestigious vocational training center in Andalusia, known for the quality of its education and its strong ties to the professional sports sector. This partnership ensures a comprehensive and up-to-date training experience, designed to prepare future coaches for the challenges of modern football.
