A day of Sevillismo and learning after the Christmas holidays for the students of the Antonio Puerta Football School. The boys had the opportunity to train and enjoy the best advice from several former youth academy players of the club, such as Anto\u00f1ito, Javi Varas, and Kepa Blanco.<\/p>\n\n\n

Anto\u00f1ito (Antonio Ramiro P\u00e9rez), who came through Sevilla FC\u2019s youth academy, played a crucial role in the team\u2019s promotion to La Liga in the 2000\/01 season. In the following years, he contributed to the team’s growth in the elite of Spanish football with his dedication and quality in Sevilla\u2019s attacking line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Javi Varas, a homegrown goalkeeper, is still remembered for his outstanding performance against FC Barcelona in 2011, when he saved a penalty from Lionel Messi at Camp Nou, securing a valuable draw for Sevilla. He was also part of the squad that won the Copa del Rey in 2010, defeating Atl\u00e9tico de Madrid 2-0 in the final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kepa Blanco, another product of the club\u2019s youth system, played a key role during the historic 2005\/06 season in which Sevilla FC won their first UEFA Cup. In the group stage, Kepa was one of the team\u2019s key goal scorers.
