Participation of Sevilla FC’s Medical Services Department in a prestigious sports medicine congress
The congress that brings together the world’s leading specialists in sports science and football medicine
The Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid recently hosted over 2,000 attendees for the Isokinetic Conference 2025, a prestigious sports medicine congress that brought together numerous representatives from football clubs around the world, including Sevilla FC.
Among the more than 250 medical professionals in attendance, Sevilla FC was represented by Javier González Alcántara, a specialist from the club’s Youth Academy Medical Services. He presented one of the standout cases of the entire conference, featured in the panel “Integrating neurocognitive testing in a female soccer player after ACL injury.”
The presentation was the result of collaborative work by Matías Morán Bravo, Rafael Castaño Torres, Javier Orellana Montini, Julia Gutiérrez Rabadán, Ernesto Chao García, Macarena Prados Salinas, and Manuel Sanz Barrera.
The congress was organized by the Isokinetic Medical Group in collaboration with FIFA.
