Gangwon participates in the Business Academy Program of Sevilla FC
A group of department heads from the Korean club had a training experience as part of the collaboration agreement between both clubs
The Sevilla Football Club and Gangwon FC have taken another step forward in the collaboration agreement signed between the two clubs last January. In this context, a group of department heads from the South Korean club participated in the Business Academy program promoted by the Sevilla FC Innovation Center.
The program’s participants had the opportunity to learn about the club’s day-to-day operations both at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium and the José Ramón Cisneros Palacios Training Ground. They attended a week of training sessions covering various areas, including sports and business operations. Furthermore, Gangwon’s representatives witnessed the Sevilla FC vs. Celta match live, becoming captivated by the passion of Sevilla’s fans during a historic event coinciding with the farewell of the legendary captain, Jesús Navas.
Since the agreement between Sevilla FC and Gangwon FC was signed, the South Korean team has visited Spain on two occasions. Initially, Gangwon’s president, Kim Byung-ji, and general director, Kim Tae Joo, were the first to experience the club firsthand. In December, the sessions included key representatives from Gangwon’s marketing, ticketing, and events departments, marking a new milestone in the cooperation between the two clubs. This initiative underscores Sevilla FC’s commitment to internationalization and highlights the value of the educational offerings from its Innovation Center.
