Open day session at the Goalkeeping Academy
The innovative project by the Sevilla FC Innovation Center, which still has some spots available, held an open training session for the public
The Sevilla FC Innovation Center has launched an initiative called the “Sevilla FC Goalkeeping Academy,” designed to provide comprehensive training for football goalkeepers. This project covers technical, tactical, physical, and psychological aspects, with the goal of improving both the athletic performance and personal development of goalkeepers.
After the initial weeks, which were reserved for registered participants, an open house session was held, and it was a great success. The academy, based on Sevilla FC’s methodology, is aimed at goalkeepers from the pre-benjamín (U8) category to senior level, and is open to individuals, clubs, schools, and semi-professional players.
The academy focuses on both the individual and collective development of goalkeepers, with a comprehensive approach involving club coaches and support from the Sevilla FC R&D Department. Although a few spots are still available, those interested can find more information on the Sevilla FC Innovation Center website.
